You can use the Monitoring dashboard in the Admin Portal to see at a glance whether your LUSID estate is running smoothly. If something isn't, you can drill straight down to the cell, domain, service or endpoint behind it. The dashboard is built to answer one question quickly: is a problem isolated to a single domain, affecting a whole cell, or affecting everything? That means less back-and-forth with FINBOURNE technical support to establish where things stand, and a view you can check yourself before a busy trading day, or refer to if you experience disruption.
Checking the status of all your cells at a glance
The Monitoring dashboard shows every cell you manage side by side, so you can see immediately whether any of them need attention.
Each cell is flagged if it has an elevated error rate or an open P1 or P2 support ticket, so you can spot a developing issue without reading through logs or waiting for a support ticket update.
This view shows a rolling 3-hour window of activity. Select Refresh to pull the latest data at any time.
LUSID builds this view by querying and aggregating the Insights Metrics endpoint for every domain in each cell. Because of this, cells with a large number of domains may take longer to load.
If LUSID can't retrieve or refresh the data for a cell, this is shown clearly on the dashboard rather than left blank.

Drilling into a cell or a specific set of domains
Select a cell from the at-a-glance view to see the domains within it individually.
You can filter the view down to a specific set of domains within that cell, rather than reviewing all of them.
This drill-down view covers the last 24 hours of activity, and refreshes automatically each time you load it. Select Refresh to pull the latest data without leaving the page.

Reviewing performance and status by service, feature and endpoint
Within a cell or domain, you can go further and review performance metrics for individual platform features and endpoints. This is where you'll do most of your investigation and triage: it gives you the detail you need to confirm whether an issue is real, and where exactly it sits.
Performance metrics are available across domains, platform features and individual endpoints.
Alongside the raw metrics, LUSID shows a status for each service or method, based on its interpretation of current error rates and request latencies.
Important: This status assessment is in Beta. Treat it as an initial indicator of where to look, not a definitive statement that something is wrong — use the underlying performance metrics to draw your own conclusion before raising a support ticket.

Reviewing user activity and support tickets
For each domain, you can also see:
The number of active users, broken down by user type.
The number of support tickets raised.
Taken together with the performance data, this gives you a complete picture to confirm your LUSID estate is working well — whether that's ahead of the trading day, or when checking in during a period of disruption.
