You can use derived properties to configure instruments in the Rebalance dashboard for various purposes, such as designating instruments as:
Placeholders for group-level weightings in a reference portfolio
However, you may choose to assign your instruments using a standard property instead of a derived property. This allows you to create a property definition and simply decorate each instrument with that property.
To do this:
Navigate to Data Management > Properties.
Locate the existing derived property, noting the
Domain/Scope/Codecombination. Once noted, delete the derived property..png?sv=2022-11-02&spr=https&st=2026-02-12T11%3A56%3A04Z&se=2026-02-12T12%3A07%3A04Z&sr=c&sp=r&sig=P%2FxTsSzQUG2WU3MIsG8x%2FkXvn9Tc3T8pgu%2B7hu5i0L0%3D)
