You can use derived properties to configure instruments in the Rebalance dashboard for various purposes, such as designating instruments as:
Placeholders for group-level weightings in a reference portfolio
However, you may choose to assign your instruments using a standard property instead of a derived property. This allows you to create a property definition and simply decorate each instrument with that property.
To do this:
Navigate to Data Management > Properties.
Locate the existing derived property, noting the
Domain/Scope/Codecombination. Once noted, delete the derived property..png?sv=2022-11-02&spr=https&st=2026-01-02T12%3A59%3A00Z&se=2026-01-02T13%3A10%3A00Z&sr=c&sp=r&sig=P05QoorpW7HSIwek1i3o%2BpNzRpCFkZAfTjII0NiLcMA%3D)
