[More information](/v1/docs/assigning-transactions-to-custodian-accounts). | | `RelatedAccount` | The resolved custodian account is a related `Cash`-type account. [More information](/v1/docs/assigning-transactions-to-custodian-accounts#handling-autogenerated-instrument-event-transactions). | | `PortfolioDefault` | The resolved custodian account is the default for the account type. [See how to set this](/v1/docs/how-do-i-create-and-register-custodian-accounts). | | `ContextCustodian` | The resolved custodian account is derived from the original holding. This may occur for transactions automatically generated by LUSID in response to instrument events that have not been diverted to related or default `Cash`-type accounts. | You can examine the resolution reason by adding the **Resolved custodian accounts** field to the **Portfolio Management > Transactions** dashboard in **Output** mode, for example: ![](https://cdn.document360.io/d575ad81-c0ed-4980-bbd1-d59ac5c3de82/Images/Documentation/image-Y1P7WLQ6.png?sv=2026-02-06&spr=https&st=2026-11-04T02%3A19%3A08Z&se=2026-11-04T03%3A19%3A08Z&sr=c&sp=r&sig=VSPkP168wraZU0jyp6iC6wT1ze3CeCDllbRUJ4PCq8s%3D)
