# How do I set up multi-factor authentication (MFA)?

You are automatically prompted to set up at least one MFA factor as part of completing the process of [setting up a personal user account](/v1/docs/how-do-i-set-up-a-personal-user-account).

MFA is managed by LUSID's identity provider, Okta. The current factors are as follows:

To enrol a factor, click its **Set up** button and follow the instructions.

You can subsequently [change your MFA settings](/v1/docs/how-do-i-change-passwords-or-mfa-settings-or-revoke-access) at any time by signing in to Okta's website and editing your profile.

> **Note:** If you are a LUSID administrator, you can revoke a user’s MFA factor and make them choose a new one. [See how to do this](/v1/docs/how-do-i-change-passwords-or-mfa-settings-or-revoke-access#changing-the-credentials-of-other-users-via-the-lusid-web-app).
